The Twilight Pups are ready to have fun!

These precious pups are affectionate, even-tempered, and can’t wait to meet you! The litter of six is three beautiful girls; Bella, Esme, and Rosalie and three handsome boys; Carlisle, Edward, and Jacob. We are thinking these little ones are a Heeler mix. Did you know Heelers are used in cattle herding and got their name from how they move reluctant cattle by nipping at their heels? The pups are named after characters from the romantic fantasy film series – Twilight.

These are typical puppies with typical puppy behavior - like chewing on stuff, playing with each other, playing with toys, playing with people and just playing in general!

As the pups are so young, they haven’t started on potty, crate, and leash training but think they will pick up these skills quickly as they seem very smart. They are playful with other dogs but we don’t yet know how they are with kids and cats. They love toys and are happy to chill with a ball when not playing with you! So far, the pups are pretty quiet, but you might hear them bark when playing.

All the Twilight pups are eager to please, toy and treat motivated little squirts, so puppy training classes will be lots of fun!

Edward would love to find a forever family that has lots of time and patience to raise a puppy properly, and who has lots of extra time for loving and cuddles. If you are looking for a puppy, Edward, or one of his littermates, may be perfect for you! Fill out an application today and let him know that you'd love to have him join your family!

Twilight Pups story: The pups’ mom (Twilight) was found as a pregnant stray. Mom and puppies are now living with a loving foster family and doing great!

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
