Age: 4 Months (as of 3/7/21)
Weight: 37.4 lbs (as of 3/3/21) This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Who's ready to fiesta with the Tex-Mex puppies?!
We think these adorable big tikes are a shepherd lab mix, and are expecting them to be large dogs when fully grown. This litter is three females (Margarita, Guacamole, Salsa) and two males (Nacho, Taco). They have been in foster care since birth, and are currently being kenneled with access to a large fenced yard and likely don't have much experience living inside in a home yet. Their foster family has a young child, and three other large dogs, and the pups are interested and playful when encountering them, or when meeting new people.
We can't promise how they'll do with cohabiting cats, but were interested and playful when meeting a new cat.
These puppies are affectionate, intelligent, even-tempered, and eager to please. With a pocket full of training treats they will be a blast to take to their puppy training classes, where they can learn good manners like obedience, leash walking, and socialization. Please expect to house and crate train them as well, but we think they will learn quickly with committed new parent(s). Their favorite activities include meeting new people, cuddling, running around/chasing their littermates, wrestling, and bitey-mouth. They seem to have moderate activity levels, if not provided with a fenced yard please plan to provide exercise in other ways such as leash walks, games of fetch, or trips to a dog park.
