Weight: 33.8 lbs. This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet Lady Tramp, mom to the Tramp puppies!
We think that Lady is a Terrier and Shepherd mix, and looks to be about a year old. She was taken in as a stray while pregnant, and now we are looking for forever homes for her and her six pups. Lady is a generally calm and quiet dog who loves to cuddle -- she'll bark a little to alert you or when playing, but is not overly vocal. She hasn't been exposed to children or cats/small animals yet, so we're not exactly sure how she'd do in a home with them, but she seems to get along with adults. She loves to meet new people and does well in the car, so she'd be great to bring along for an adventure!
Lady is working on her house training, crate training, and walking on a leash without pulling. As with all pups in new homes, we'd recommend that Lady attend some group training classes, ideally within the first 45 days of arriving in her new home. Dog training classes are always a great way to help reinforce important skills, while also providing the added benefit of some socialization time with other furry friends. She's used to running around with her six puppies, so she would definitely enjoy a puppy playgroup! Lady is intelligent, resilient, and eager to please -- qualities that add up to a very trainable dog -- so we're confident that with a little practice, she'll be able to master these skills from her classes.
