If you've been looking for a new little man or woman in your life - the LittleBit puppies are what you've been waiting for!

This litter is three females (Button, Bitsy, Munchkin) and three males (Chip, Zippy, Niblet). We are thinking they are a puggle mix, and are guessing they will be small to medium sized dogs when fully grown based on their current size. They have pretty typically puppy behavior such as being affectionate, cuddly, and playful. Their preferred play styles seem to be wrestling, bitey mouth, chasing, or with chew and squeaky toys. Their energy level appears to be about moderate; if not provided with a fenced yard plan to provide exercise in other ways such as daily walks and plenty of opportunities to play. A tired dog is a good dog! They seem to be mostly quiet and calm pups but you may hear them bark while playing.

They have not encountered cats or new dogs yet, so we aren't sure how they will do with cohabiting cats.  Given that they are still so young we think they should do fine with another resident dog(s) or as the only pup in the house. Get ready for your new adventure buddy, as they are interested and calm when going new places but are calm when in the car, and friendly but can be a little shy when meeting new people. They have not met any children yet in their foster home, but given that they are still puppies and expected to be small to medium sized when grown, we think they would do okay in a home with children that can be respectful and gentle with a new dog in the home.

Adopters should plan to spend plenty of time playing with your new puppy, training them in basic commands, tricks, and skills like leash-, crate-, and house training, socializing them with new situations and dogs, and giving them plenty of free play and working play (like pack walks).

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
