Ollie is a playful girl!

She is also sweet, smart, even-tempered, and loves toys, especially ones that squeak! We are thinking beautiful Ollie is a Terrier mix with a cute scruffy face.

She is friendly and playful with all us adult humans. She is still very much a puppy and gets excited and sometimes jumps when meeting new people or welcoming you home. Potential adopters with young children or visiting young kids should keep this in mind. She is friendly with other dogs but we don’t yet know how she is with cats. She is a fairly high energy dog and think she would do best in a relatively quiet / low foot traffic household.

She is working really hard on house training and crate training but still needs more practice. She is not leash trained but she is a smart girl and think she will pick up this skill quickly with a little time, patience, and treats!

A fenced yard would be ideal so Ollie could run and play safely, but if that's not available she'll need lots of leash walks and opportunities for off-leash play in a fenced area. We recommend that you and Ollie sign up for some dog training classes together, ideally in the first 30 days or so of bringing her home. Group training classes are a great way to reinforce important skills, learn some new tricks, and get some quality socialization time with other furry friends.

Ollie’s story: She was surrendered to an Animal Control facility as her owners didn’t have time for her. At the shelter she got along well with other dogs in a large playgroup and was very sweet and affectionate with staff and visitors. Ollie is now living with a loving foster family and doing great!
