Eclipse is a even-tempered and quiet young  husky mix who loves play groups, going for runs, and meetings new people. Eclipse is happy to chill at times, and enjoys cuddling but would be happier with above average stimulation. Eclipse is a generally quite dog, but will alert her current home when someone comes to visit. She is also in the process of house training, but she does like to jump up on furniture. She is quiet and good in her crate, and calm for car rides. Eclipse loves meeting new people and places, and is doing very well with the three children in her foster home.

We strongly recommend that all our dogs attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, and it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog, and it also helps to strengthen that ever- important bond between the dog and his/her human family. It’s lots of fun, too! A well-mannered, obedient dog will be welcomed most anywhere you take him/her.

Though a fenced yard is an ideal place for Eclipse to romp and play safely, if that’s not an option then lots of daily leash walks and opportunities to play off-leash in a dog park is the next best thing. A tired dog is a good dog! Dogs of all ages also benefit from mental stimulation – think puzzle toys and games.

Eclipse is a playful and happy girl who just wants a loving forever home. Can you make her dream come true? Fill out an application today and let her know that you'd love to have her join your family!

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
