Nice to meet you, I'm Bailey Rae!
Ever since I was dumped at my foster's relative's house, I have been dreaming about having my very own family; one that will love me until I grow old and start sprouting white fur. For now, life isn't too bad in my foster home of two adults, a teenager, four dogs, and two cats. Sometimes I get to come inside the house but I am usually kenneled or kept in the fenced yard.
I really love being with the resident dogs; if I am left alone for too long without them around, I can't help but bark and howl until we are reunited. I would really like a furry sibling in my forever home or a human(s) who will be around most of the time while I work on my separation anxiety. When I meet new dogs I'm super cool - the more friends the better, am I right?! My favorite ways to play are bitey-mouth, with squeaky toys, or a fun round of fetch. I really love to go for walks and runs - aka best hiking partner ever! When I see the resident cats, I try and play with them but I think they get a little scared of me, but I can't help it I'm just so excited for a new playmate! I have met some mini-humans before too - they make great playmates, too, but I also get kind of excited and may bark a little out of eagerness. The bigger adult humans I have met are also great - I just want to be friends with everyone - which means I'll make a great adventure buddy since I even settle quickly and am good but hyper in the car. When all the reindeer games for the day are over, the best way to end the day is some cuddling and lap time with my humans.
Okay, okay - I know you're thinking what's the catch I must be too good to be true - aside from being a little hyper and needing some attention and structure, I may be known to jump on people and furniture, and chew on things (nothing a good bone or puzzle toy can't solve), and I also need to work on potty training and leash walking, but I've already started my crate training at least! I would just love to have a family of my own to show me how to be the best dog I can be and learn my manners by going to a training class so I can learn good behaviors and socialize with other dogs.
If you felt a "zing" for me, please don't wait to fill out an application today!

We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence.
