Meet Bandit Ranger!
This 3-month-old puppy appears to be a mix of several adorable dog breeds -- Great Pyreneese, Pointer, Labrador, and Hound. Bandit and his brother, Bucky, were part of a surprise litter born in May 2021. Mom and their other siblings have found homes, and now we are looking for homes for these last two boys!
Bandit has been exposed to adults, dogs, cats, and kids of all ages. His foster home (where he has lived since birth) includes children ages 2, 9, 12, and a 16-year-old who is autistic and has special needs. Bandit is playful, respectful, and friendly with all of the different members of his current household, so we think he'd be comfortable in just about any type of forever family. While he is used to being around lots of people and pets, he doesn't have much experience visiting new environments and places and can be a bit timid when he does. We'd recommend that his new human(s) spend several weeks/months gradually exposing him to more passive socialization. Bandit loves walking and swimming, but is not a big fan of the car and can get anxious when going for drives. He's generally a quiet dog, with the exception of some alert watchdog barking.
Additionally, as with all young puppies, we'd recommend that Bandit joins a puppy obedience class as soon as you can. Bandit will need help working on his housetraining, crate-training, and loose leash walking. Puppy classes are a great way to help him master some new skills and commands, while also socializing with other pups his age.
Bandit is a sweet and friendly young pup, ready to find his permanent home. Fill out an application today!

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence.
