Say hello to Ouija!
We think he's about 1 year old and looks to be a Boxer and Bulldog mix. He's a playful and affectionate boy and before arriving in New England he lived with a foster with lots of other animals including dogs, cats, and even horses and chickens! He likes other dogs but think he prefers the company of us humans (both big and small) more. When he hasn't seen you in a while, he will greet you with the cutest 'wiggle butt'! Ouija is sweet and friendly, loves playing with toys and going for walks. He's calm and curious when going for rides in the car, so he would love to come along with you on some new adventures! After a nice walk or a trip to the dog park, game of fetch, and chewing on some fun squeaky toys, Ouija is happy to relax and unwind with his people. Even at 50 pounds, he definitely considers himself a lapdog and wants to snuggle!
Ouija seems like he could be a great addition to your home. A quick learner, he is already doing really well with his housetraining (he very rarely has accidents) and crate training and has learned the "sit" and "down" commands. He could use some help with some of his house manners, including jumping on furniture and counter surfing, so we would recommend he joins a dog training class within the first month or so of bringing him home. As with all new dogs, training classes are a great way to help master these skills while getting some bonus socialization time with pup pals.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
