Noah is a charming boy!
He is also sweet, smart, even-tempered, and eager to please. We aren’t sure of the breed of handsome Noah but are thinking he is a Lab mix. We think he will likely stay fairly small as he is not even 25 pounds at 7-months of age.
He loves all people and is still very much a puppy and gets excited and sometimes jumps when welcoming you home - potential adopters with young children or visiting young kids should keep this in mind.
He may act shy when meeting new people or new dogs for the first time but give him some time and he will be your new best friend and is ready to play.
We don’t yet know how Noah is with cats. We are still learning about this playful boy and think he would do best in a relatively quiet / low foot traffic household. He is living with two other playful large dogs and enjoys playtime and cuddling with them. Noah should blossom with an adopter who is gentle, patient, and encouraging but responsive to his needs and body language.
Noah is housetrained, crate trained, and walks pretty good on the leash and would love to join you on an adventure to get more practice! A fenced yard would be ideal so Noah could run and play safely, but if that's not available he'll need lots of leash walks and opportunities for off-leash play in a fenced area. We recommend that you and Noah sign up for some dog training classes together, ideally in the first 60 days or so of bringing him home. Group training classes are a great way to reinforce important skills, learn some new tricks, and get some quality socialization time with other furry friends.
Noah would love to find a forever family that has lots of time and patience to raise a puppy properly, and who has lots of extra time for loving and cuddles. If you are looking for a puppy, Noah may be perfect for you! Fill out an application today and let him know that you'd love to have him join your family!
Noah’s story: We don’t know much about this sweet boy other than he was found as a stray. He is now living with a loving foster family and doing great!

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
