It’s Christmas again with the Noel puppies!

These adorable pups were born on December 25th and thus their holiday theme names. There are four beautiful girls (Holly, Peppermint, Jingle Belle, and Sugarplum), and five handsome boys (Jolly, Nestor, Mistletoe, Eggnog, and Tinsel). We aren’t sure of their breed but are thinking Lab and Shepherd mix. Mom is about 40 lbs., and we aren’t sure who Dad is but there are two neighborhood 50 – 70 lb. males. We are sure you will fall in love with these playful pups.

The Noel pups may act a little shy when meeting new people and new dogs (especially large dogs) but give them a little time and they will be ready to play! They have been exposed to kids and were playful and responsive to corrections, but don’t currently live with children. The pups are sensitive to new experiences and are responding well to passive socialization where they are exposed to new people, places, dogs and noises, but do not interact directly with them.

Being just puppies, they will have so much to learn! They have started on house training, crate training, and learning to walk on the leash and so far, so good! We strongly recommend that all our dogs attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, and it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog.

The Noel pups are pretty quiet, but you might hear them bark when playing.  They love toys and are happy to chill with a squeaky toy when not playing with you!

Eggnog would love to find a forever family that has lots of time and patience to raise a puppy properly, and who has lots of extra time for loving and cuddles. If you are looking for a puppy, Eggnog, or one of his littermates, may be perfect for you! Fill out an application today and let him know that you'd love to have him join your family!

Noel Pups story: The pregnant mom of these adorable pups was found as a stray and was taken in by a caring neighbor where the pups were born. A loving rescue was contacted for assistance in finding homes for these Christmas pups.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
