Say hello to Lady Bridgerton!

She has a beautiful sable color with a sort of black haze over it, white on her chest, on her neck and on her paws. We aren't sure of her breed and are thinking she is a Hound mix. We are sure you will fall in love with sweet Lady! She is the last pup in her litter available for adoption, and all of her siblings are doing great in their forever homes, now it's Lady's turn.

She is a shy girl especially around new people and in new situations. We are working with her to help her become more confident and comfortable, but at this time, she would do best in a quiet household with another calm, confident dog. She is friendly with us adults but don't know how she is with children but think she would be ok with older school-age kids. She is housetrained and crate trained is working really hard on walking on the leash but does need more practice.

A potential adopter will need to go slow with Lady, work on socialization and provide plenty of exercise. She is a smart girl and basic group training classes is recommended to help her learn commands, socialize with other humans and dogs, as well as build that fur-ever bond with you! A fenced yard would be ideal so she could run and play safely, but if that's not available she will need lots of leash walks and opportunities for off-leash play in a fenced area.

Just look at that face and tell us you haven't absolutely fallen in love! Fill out an application today and one of our adoption counselors will be in touch!

Bridgerton Pups' Backstory: Mom was a stray who showed up at the house of the brother of one of our southern partner's foster's house. She had a spay appointment at a vet who was booked a ways out and became pregnant before the appointment. The foster was caring for the puppies at her brother's house until she had a fence built and now the puppies are with her, and she is able to give them additional care and oversight along with some "inside" time.

An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
