This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Does it get any cuter than the Boots litter? These six little puppies are 3 months old and super calm for pups of their age! Zara is mostly white with some tan/tri-color on her face and ears. We're thinking these dogs are Labrador mixes but not sure what else. Their mom, Boots, is a chocolate lab mix (see some pictures of her and all of her pups attached here) and we're guessing the puppies will grow to be about medium sized like her.
Zara is a fun-loving, playful young puppy. She's been in her foster home for a few weeks now, living with a retired couple and getting along well with the new people she's met. She hasn't met any cats yet or too many kids but seems to have a calm and friendly temperament. And she definitely gets along well with other dogs, since she's so used to running around and wrestling with her five brothers and sisters.
Like all brand-new puppies, Zara is going to need some help with learning all of the basics -- housetraining, crate training, leash walking, and the standard commands (sit, stay, come, etc.) -- so it'll be important for her new human(s) to spend some time with her working on these skills. She very affectionate and eager to please, so we think she has the demeanor to learn quickly. Dog training classes are also always a great idea, especially for young pups like Zara! They are a great way to help you bond together, learn some new techniques, and get some bonus socialization time with other furry friends.
