Meet little miss Bailey Lambchop!

This sweet girl looks to be a Jack Russell Terrier mix but at this time doesn't appear to have the same high energy level as JRT's typically do. She has about a moderate energy level and does well with 1-2 hours of exercise/stimulation/and play time a day. She is a smart, affectionate, even-tempered, playful and cuddly pup who has lived with cats and other dogs and does great with both! She has met kids over 5-years-old and was good with them but currently doesn't live with kids.

Bailey is calm in the car, interested when going new places, and mostly quiet but you may hear her bark when playing. She is crate trained and her house training is in progress in her foster home and going well! She has not had any leash or obedience training just yet though but given she is intelligent we think she should pick up skills quickly!  We recommend that you and Bailey sign up for some dog training classes together, ideally in the first 60 days or so of bringing her home. Group training classes are a great way to reinforce important skills, learn some new tricks, and get some quality socialization time with other furry friends.

If you felt love at first sight for Bailey Lambchop, don't wait to apply to adopt her today!

Bailey's story: She was recently brought into our rescue with our southern rescue partner in Arkansas after being transferred from another foster from another rescue that was unable to provide her adequate time/care/attention.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
