Gabby loves to play fetch!

This pretty girl is sweet, eager to please and playful. We are thinking Gabby is a Boxer mix. She is a little shy in new circumstances but warms up quickly.

She loves meeting people.  Gabby’s best friend is a 3-year-old child that visits her regularly, but currently doesn’t live with kids. She loves other dogs but may act shy at first but give her a little time and she is ready to play! She lives with cats and is interested in them in a playful way.

She is always ready for action and is also happy to chill with you and one of her favorite toys. She is house trained and crate trained and needs a little work walking on the leash. She is a smart girl and basic group training classes is recommended to help her learn commands, socialize with other humans and dogs, as well as build that fur-ever bond with you! A fenced yard would be ideal so she could run and play safely, but if that's not available she'll need lots of leash walks and opportunities for off-leash play in a fenced area.

Medical Note:  This dog has tested positive for exposure to ehrlichia. This does not mean that this dog had/has an active infection of ehrlichiosis, only that the dog was exposed or infected in the past. This dog is/has been asymptomatic while in SOS care and is being treated/has been treated preventatively with a 28-day course of doxycycline. This dog is ready for adoption, though may continue to test positive for exposure to ehrlichia for some time.
