Meet Valley Girl!
Valley Girl is a young, sweet natured pit mix with beautiful brindle markings. She loves attention and shows her affection with sweet kisses. She’s a very outgoing pup and enjoys going new places and meeting new people. She remains calm when crated for car rides and when left alone, settling well and quickly. Valley Girl is very playful and enjoys interacting with dogs and people, especially children, but can be a little overbearing with cats or small animals. She responds well to directions, can be distracted or redirected when needed, and being a puppy, may need corrections from time to time. She likes chew toys, chasing other dogs, and playing fetch but also doesn’t mind chilling and cuddling on the couch. During playtime, you may hear her bark occasionally, but is otherwise relatively quiet. Valley Girl continues to work on housetraining and has been known to zigzag while on leash but is eager to please and steadily improving. With her intelligence, resilience, and eagerness to please, her potential new family should be willing and interested to participate in obedience and/or other training classes. This will not only provide an opportunity to build confidence and create a strong bond but will also provide mental stimulation to foster her intelligence.
An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this.

*Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
