Zeus is a wee pup with lots of love to give to his furever people! He is sweet and playful and gets along with dogs, cats, and adults. He does fine with school-age kids in his foster home but hasn’t been exposed to toddlers and babies. He likes to meet new people and is playful with them. New cats and small animals pique his interest, but he does not fixate on them – he is easy to distract and redirect.
He's interested in checking out new places and remains calm in new situations. He gets excited while playing and sometimes barks to show his delight. Zeus is affectionate and loves toys, lap time, and cuddling. He’s also happy to chill out after playtime.
Zeus is still quite young, so house and crate training are in process, but we are sure he will do well once settled into a home and put on a schedule.
Zeus is eager to play and responds well to corrections. We expect his family to enroll him in training, which will strengthen his manner and skills and help you and him form a great bond.
An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
