Indie is a beautiful girl that can't wait to meet you! We are thinking she is a German Shepherd and Border Collie mix. She loves meeting new people, other dogs, and is ok with some cats and some she likes to chase in a playful way. Indie is a smart girl that knows many commands including 'leave it' which her foster mom uses when she chases the family cat! She is an active girl that loves to play with one of her favorite toys or with you! 

This playful girl respects corrections with adults but can be a little overbearing with children. If you have kiddos in your family, we recommend Indie for children over 4 years of age.

She loves to play and could do with one to two hours of activity daily. A few of her favorite things are squeaky and chew toys, fetch, running, digging, chase, rough wrestling with her doggy pals, and cuddling on your lap. Her foster mom says she is very sweet, and loves snuggles!

Indie is almost housetrained but needs a little more practice. She is crate trained, walks good on the leash, and rides great in the car and is ready to join you on a road trip.  A fenced yard would be ideal so she could run and play safely, but if that's not available she'll need lots of leash walks and opportunities for off-leash play in a fenced area. She is a smart girl and basic group training classes is recommended to help her learn commands, socialize with other humans and dogs, as well as build that fur-ever bond with you!
