This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.

Say hello to sweet Nelly Mae! She's a calm, well-behaved, lovable young dog, likely a Basset Hound/Beagle mix. She is low-key and even-keeled, calm and happy when meeting new people or visiting new places. She can easily go with the flow in her busy foster home with adults, children, and dogs (she hasn't met any cats yet so we're not sure about them). 

Nelly Mae is doing a great job with house training (no accidents in her foster home for the few weeks she's been there). She's comfortable and happy in her crate. She could use a little work on some of her "house manners" (like raiding the garbage), but with a little practice she should be able to master these things in no time. She's a very agreeable and easygoing dog. 

Nelly Mae likes walks/hikes, playing with toys, swimming, and playing with other pups, but she is also a pretty laid-back dog. She can be a bit of a couch potato and loves to snuggle! She has an adorable waddling/wiggling kind of walk, and she is such a loving dog.
