This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.
Jack and Jill climbed up the Hill to find their forever homes! The Hill puppies look like little hound mixes, we're guessing about 3 months old. They were dropped off as strays and are sweet young puppies with adorable, unique brindle-colored coats. Jack has been doing well in his foster home for about a month with an adult couple, other dogs, and occasional visiting grandchildren. He hasn't met any cats or other small animals yet, so we're not sure how he'd do with them, but so far, he seems to be enjoying his medium-energy temporary household.
Jack is an even-tempered, fairly quiet pup. He likes going for rides and visiting new places, so he'd be a great companion to bring along on an adventure. While he's generally pretty calm, keep in mind that little Jack is still just a puppy, so he has some energy to burn off! He would love to go for walks, visits to the dog park, and play with some squeaky chew toys or fun brain-teaser pup puzzles. It'll be important for his new human(s) to have some time to dedicate to training Jack. He'll need some help with his house training, loose leash walking, crate training, and basic commands. As with all new dogs, we'd recommend you and Jack attend some dog training classes together. These are a great opportunity to learn some new skills, while getting some bonus socialization time with other people and pups -- what's better than that?! Remember that a tired dog is a happy dog. After a full day of fun, Jack will be happy to curl up and snuggle.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
