Meet sweet and smiling Kynlee Hope! She looks like a sweet little doe and has the docile personality to match! Kynlee is an adorable Heeler mix girl looking for a quiet home to call her own. Her foster mom tells us she’s still building confidence, but once she gets into a routine and comfortable, she lets her happy puppy self-shine through. Says her foster mom, "She's a funny little girl who will keep you laughing with her antics and sweetness."
Kynlee loves, Loves, LOVES toys! Ropes, stuffies, and chew toys are all good in her book – and the more, the better. She sometimes will pull every toy out of the box just to have them ready for play. And she is a brilliant fetcher of balls and frisbees!
Kynlee is clean in her crate and is reliably housetrained to a fenced in yard. She is gentle, goofy, and affectionate. Kynlee would love a home with a large fenced in yard, as that is her preferred bathroom place, as well as a great place to exercise her with fetch and other games and give her outside time without other dogs while she is still building her dog leash skills. Kynlee would also LOVE to have one or more other dogs in her new home. She is currently living with two senior chihuahua's and has won one of them over with her relentless and goofy but gentle playstyle. Kynlee walks lovely on the leash around the neighborhood but is uncomfortable seeing and meeting new dogs. She does love their company and interaction once she meets them. She is incredibly submissive once off leash with another dog and does best with dogs who are confident and playful, but not overbearing.
Kynlee's favorite pastimes are chewing on bones, fetching balls or toys (she is a natural and learning to catch the frisbee in the air), playing tug-of-war, learning new skills, smothering her humans as a dog blanket and car rides leading to long leash walks in nature areas. She is rather mellow, especially for her breed mix and while she would love to go on a 5-mile hike with you, she equally loves snoozing on the couch or in a sun patch near the window.
Kynlee has not been exposed to children but is eager to meet all new people and is gentle and loving and would likely love to live with older children who would love to love on her!
An ideal home for this sweet girl would be a quiet, low-traffic household with people willing to work with her to build her confidence. She can be startled by sudden/loud noises and some movements, so she would not do well in a very active household or where there might be many unpredictable sounds and movements. Training is a must for Kynlee to help her make sense of how to act in the larger world, build her confidence, and bond with you.
If you are looking for a pocket-sized heeler mix who has less drive and more affection than the average heeler, Kynlee will easily melt her way into your heart!
An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
