Meet the Despicable Me litter!

Looking for a loyal, playful, and eager to please addition to your family--the minion to your Gru? Look no further!  Edith and her sisters Agnes, Margo, and Marlena and her brothers Bob, Kevin, and Gru have been cohabitating together, with a cat, and with a middle-school age child and have been doing great. These pups are playful and responsive to corrections from all their humans (adult and child alike) and their resident cat. We think these pups are a Boxer mix. Edith has a beautiful tan tricolor coat (tan/black/white).

These pups love playtime and toys (chew, squeak, you name it) but are also happy to chill and bask in some lap time. As typical puppies, this litter loves to play chase and to wrestle, but they may be bitey at times. House and crate training is in progress, and these pups will need an adopter who will commit to continue this training and to begin leash training. We strongly recommend that all of our puppies attend obedience training to learn commands, develop confidence, and socialize with other dogs.

Think Edith could be your missing piece? Fill out an application today and let her know that you'd love to have her join your family!

Medical Note:  A littermate of this dog is being treated/has been treated for demodectic mange, a non-contagious skin condition. As there is thought to potentially be a genetic component to predisposition to this condition, this dog has been preventatively treated though does not currently show any bald patches and/or thin fur in places.  Please note that demodex can flare up in any dog in times of stress (e.g., transport, transition to a new home, change in food, etc.). As such, the adopter is advised to discuss this condition and best next steps with their veterinarian. SOS recommends that dogs with a history of demodectic mange be kept on regular NexGard or Bravecto for flea/tick prevention for at least 3 months after adoption for adults or until 18 months of age for puppies.  Please see here for more information on demodectic mange and talk with your Adoption Counselor about this condition.  Please check with your vet if you have any questions or concerns about this medical history.

An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see  HERE  for more information about this.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
