Location: RI Vader is available for adoption to Massachusetts residents, as well as those in the other New England states.
This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.
Meet Vader! This senior man has been described as an "absolute doll". This 9-year-old hound mix has a handsome tricolor coat and dreamy eyes, which are perfectly accentuated by his brown eyebrows. In addition to being handsome, Vader has an amazing personality: he's sweet, affectionate, intelligent, gentle, goofy, quiet, and eager to please. He has also done well with other pups as well as cats. As he lived most of his life with other dogs, we think he would do best in a household with another dog for him to hang out with. Vader is a couch potato who loves to cuddle. He also enjoys going on walks, playing with toys, and visiting new places, ESPECIALLY if he gets to ride there in the car.
If you haven't already fallen in love with Vader, how about this--he is house, and crate trained AND does well on a leash! Vader truly is the perfect package and looking for a family to live his golden years with.

Vader's Story: Vader was rescued from a hoarder situation along with 12 other dogs and a cat. Despite this, you would never know Vader came from rough beginnings! He is a sweet, well trained old man.
