Meet Zula! Zula is a 1-year-old rat terrier mix with a sleek black coat. She has been living fully integrated into a foster home and cohabitating successfully with adult humans, young kids, other dogs, and resident cats. Zula has many wonderful personality characteristics: she's affectionate, intelligent, even-tempered, outgoing, gentle, eager to please, and mild mannered. She also has many hobbies including playing with toys, playing fetch, going on walks or hikes, playing chase or tug-o-war with other pups, meeting new people, and cuddling.
Zula is working hard on house training and is almost there! She is quiet and clean in her crate for up to 6 hours, she does well walking on a leash, and she is calm when crated in the car. We strongly recommend that all of our dogs attend obedience training to learn commands, develop confidence, and socialize with other dogs.
Think Zula would make a great addition to your family? Fill out an application to let her know!
An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this.

*Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
