Hi there! I'm Hal. Just a young, friendly, and gentle soul. I love to play and I'm always up for a game of fetch or a good belly rub. I'm a social butterfly, I love everyone I meet, especially kids. They're just so fun and full of energy, just like me! Now, I have a little secret... I'm a bit scared of cats. I know, I know, they're smaller than me, but they're so mysterious! Despite my feline fears, I promise to fill your life with joy, laughter, and unconditional love.

I am housetrained, crate trained, and if I say so myself walk pretty good on the leash but guess I could always use more practice and would love to join you on a walk, run, or hike. I love to have fun, whether it's running in the yard or playing with you, but I'm not all about having fun, as I love to snuggle and give kisses, too. If you are looking for the perfect young dog, please fill out an application for me – Hal. I can't wait to meet you!

Hal’s story: He was abandoned at campground cabin. His finders cared for him for the weekend while there and later brought him to a local veterinarian who contacted a loving rescue for help in find Hal a forever home.

An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see  HERE  for more information about this.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
