Introducing the Sesame St. puppies! We have five handsome little boys - Bert, Ernie, Oscar, Grover, and Elmo. They are all eager to find their new homes. We think these pups may be Chiweenie-Cavalier mix, but your guess is as good as ours. The Sesame St litter’s mom was part of a group of spaniel/chihuahuas owned as free roaming dogs. Mom’s owners were unable to care for the puppies and agreed to rehome them.
These little guys love playing chase, bity-mouth, tug-o-war, and wrestling with each other, but they are also happy to chill and cuddle with their people! We are told all the puppies in this litter were the stars of the show at Puppy Yoga!!
Oscar's foster family reports that he is a gentle, affectionate and outgoing little cutie who is intelligent, eager to please, and quite goofy. He loves squeaky toys, chew toys, and playgroup, but he also slows down for a siesta on the couch with his humans. Is it naptime? Oscar is down for some cuddles on the couch or just a snooze in a blanket on your lap!
Being so young, Oscar would love to find a family who has the time and patience to raise a puppy; he has so much to learn! He'll need house training, crate training and will need to learn to walk on a leash.
We strongly recommend that all our dogs - and especially puppies - attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog, and it also helps to strengthen that ever-important bond between the dog and his human family. It’s lots of fun, too!
Puppies are a lot of work and require a strong commitment to teaching them obedience, socializing with other dogs and people, playing with them and loving them to pieces. It takes a lot of time, energy and patience to bring up a puppy and it’s totally worth it!
If you're ready to make that awesome commitment to bring up Oscar, then fill out an application today! Wet puppy kisses and warm, furry snuggles are just around the corner!
An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not by breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
