Meet Bailey Baguette! We think this little girl may be a chiweenie mix, but your guess is as good as ours! She has been living in an Active foster home with an adult couple and their four dogs. Bailey is very chill, smart and cuddly! She is a quick learner and responds well to corrections. Bailey is being fostered with the Chip litter.
Bailey has been interested meeting new dogs, although she is shy around her foster family’s huge Great Dane (I’d be afraid of getting stepped on if I were 10 pounds too!) She rarely barks, is calm and interested going to new places, and is playful when meeting new people. Bailey likes chew toys, squeaky toys, and cuddling. She loves playing with the other dogs, playing bitey-mouth, chase and wrestling. After all that play, little girl is down for some chill time with her people to cuddle on the couch.
Being so young, Bailey would love to find a family who has the time and patience to raise a puppy; she has so much to learn! She'll need house training, crate training and will need to learn to walk on a leash.
We strongly recommend that all our dogs - and especially puppies - attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog, and it also helps to strengthen that ever-important bond between the dog and his human family. It’s lots of fun, too!
Puppies are a lot of work and require a strong commitment to teaching them obedience, socializing with other dogs and people, playing with them and loving them to pieces. It takes a lot of time, energy and patience to bring up a puppy and it’s totally worth it!
If you're ready to make that awesome commitment to bring up Bailey, then fill out an application today! This gentle little lady can’t wait to meet her new family!
An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
