Introducing the Wonderful puppies – Winnie and May! They are beautiful young ladies who we think may be lab-wire terrier mixes. They are all eager to find their new homes. Winnie and May come from an active foster home where they been living with an adult retired couple and their two large indoor dogs. They are calm and interested when going new places and they love EVERYONE!
May's foster family reports that she is an affectionate cutie who is outgoing and playful. She loves playing chase and wrestling with her canine friends or enjoys a chew toy or squeaky toy on her own or play fetch with her person (she can’t throw the ball yet, so she’ll be the one fetching). She also likes walking, running, and hiking! It’s not all playtime though, this goofy gentle girl also loves cuddle time! Is it time to relax? May is down for some naps and cuddles on the sofa with her people! You can watch a movie or just watch her run in her dreams.
Puppies are a lot of work and require a strong commitment to teaching them obedience, socializing with other dogs and people, playing with them and loving them to pieces. It takes a lot of time, energy and patience to bring up a puppy and it’s totally worth it! Being so young, May would love to find a family who has the time and patience to raise a puppy; she has so much to learn! She'll need house training, crate training and will need to learn to walk on a leash.
We strongly recommend that all our dogs - and especially puppies - attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog, and it also helps to strengthen that ever-important bond between the dog and her human family. It’s lots of fun, too!
If you're ready to make that awesome commitment to bring up May, then fill out an application today! Wet puppy kisses and warm, furry snuggles are awaiting!
An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not by breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
