This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped .

Meet Little Pea—more like “Sweet Pea!”  This lovable girl is proof that good things come in small packages. Little Pea is affectionate, playful and eager to please.

Adult rescue dogs like Little Pea are a great choice for those seeking a calm, gentle companion—one that’s over the puppy stage. She enjoys walks and is very experienced with leash training, crate training, car rides and house training. You could say she’s “been around the block a few times!”

When it comes to interacting with other dogs, Little Pea is one happy, wiggly playmate! She plays nicely and especially loves her squeaky toys. She currently shares a bedroom with a cat, and their interactions are affectionate and playful. We know that Little Pea is a sweetheart with women, however, we haven't had the chance just yet to see how she interacts with men.

We know that Little Pea will thrive in any home, especially one with lots of love, lap time and cuddles (and a squeaky toy or two!)

We strongly encourage basic obedience training for all our dogs, as it not only helps your dog blossom into a well-balanced canine citizen with good manners, but it also helps to form a lasting bond between your dog and the humans in your family.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
