Location: RI This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.
This happy young lady is Kara. Kara loves attention and being with people. She has lots of energy and is very playful. Her playfulness and size can be too much for young children, so older children would be best. She is fine with other dogs her size, but can be too rough with the smaller dogs. She is okay with cats and it seems like she doesn't have a prey drive. Even though Kara is around 50 pounds, she still thinks as herself as being a lap dog - we won't tell her otherwise! A yard with a fence would be best for Kara, so she can freely run and burn some of her energy off. Her foster mom is currently working on leash training, and she is doing great with it. Kara is a great dog and has tons of potential, and with some basic obedience training, she will be a dream to have as a companion. Kara was a stray picked up by animal control and deserves a home with a family that has the time, patience and energy for her.
