This pretty lady is Izzy.  Izzy was rescued as a puppy and sadly returned because her owner had relandscaped their yard and didn't want a lab in the yard anymore.  Izzy has all the qualities that families look for in a dog.  She is laid back and has a great temperament, very affectionate and gentle...a 62 pound lap dog.  Great with children of all ages, gets along with other dogs and is perfect with cats - loves them in fact.  She is crate trained, leash trained and was house trained prior to coming back to rescue.  She has moderate to low energy, and likes to play, but would rather be right beside you than chasing balls.  A fenced in yard isn't required but would be ideal for her, along with going on regular walks, so she can burn some calories, lose a few extra pounds and get back into her youthful shape.  She is eager to please, obedient and intelligent...knows commands of sit and shake.  With more time and patience, who knows what she is capable of learning!
