Are you looking for some warmth after this long, cold winter? If you are, then meet Laney! Laney is so SWEET, she is sure to melt your heart. We aren't sure what Laney's breed mix is, but she looks like a petite Italian Greyhound/Lab mix. She is a very loving, kind soul. She can be shy and fearful when first meeting new people and in new situations, but with continued socialization, she is learning that these new situations are positive. She needs a home that is patient and controlled, and also willing to work on continuing to expose her, at her pace, to new experiences in positive ways. S
he warms up quickly to her caretakers; she loves to be with her people as she will follow you all around, inside and outdoors. Laney rides well in the car and will sit quietly next to you. She is good with children of all ages...she tries to get them to play with her. She's also good with all dogs, although sometimes she can be too forward, w
hich makes some dogs tend not to like her. She is crate trained and sleeps through the night without any accidents...of course she would rather sleep in your bed. She is
house trained but may need a refresher in her new home.
She does try to escape if a door is left open and she tries to sneak her way out when someone comes or goes; she will need to be trained not to do this for her own safety. A fenced in yard would be ideal for her to play safely in.
Laney deserves a nice family to love her and in return she will be a loyal, loving companion.
