Age: 8 Months (as of 9/19/14)
Weight: This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet Harley! Harley is a Coonhound (dad) and Golden Retriever (mom) mix. His looks are one-of-a-kind...black long shiny fur like a Golden with brown splotches like a Coonhound on his face and feet. The tan markings on his face makes him look like he has a moustache. He is playful with moderate energy, likes to run, play and swim in ponds/lakes (where he can walk in himself). He will need to learn how to walk on a leash, so he can see how much fun walks can be. He would love to have a fenced in yard so he can burn off some of his energy or be in a very active home that hikes, runs or walks. When he is tired, he likes to hang out on the couch. Once he falls asleep he goes limp, and sometimes he will slide off the couch and doesn't even wake up. He has a great personality and will listen...he will fall limp when you raise your voice to him. Harley gets along with all dogs of every size and age - he likes puppies - and is fine around cats. He would do best in a home with older or no children, as he's strong and jumps when he gets excited, possibly knocking over a smaller child. This boy will make a great companion to someone who has the time for him and will give him lots of love.
