Age: 4 Years This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.
This is Baker! Baker looks to be a 4 year old Chihuahua mix that is super sweet, but is very timid. He has settled in his foster home, but still gets scared around strangers. He has become his foster mom's little shadow and cuddle buddy. He loves to play with his toys and loves to take naps. He does well with cats and is okay with some dogs. Since Baker is fearful he would be better with no children or older respectful children. Baker will need a special person to understand his fears and help him overcome them, so he becomes a confident boy and loves people instead of fearing them all. A quiet home without a lot of people coming and going would be best for him. Baker will not walk on a leash, he will shake and not move; because of this Baker will need a fenced-in yard. Baker's so called "family" moved away to another state and left him behind to fend for himself. Baker was found with an old injury to his eye that was never treated and because of this he is most likely blind in that eye or only sees shadows. He gets around fine and has no pain with it. Medical Note: Baker sustained an unidentified significant trauma to his right eye in the past which led to a rupture which has since sealed and healed over. Baker has limited vision in this eye, but he is not in any pain or discomfort at this time; his eye should be rechecked every 6-12 months to confirm this. Baker's last recheck was 10/16/2015.
