Hi there! I'm Wimpy Wag! My foster momma has no idea what my breed mix is, but she says I am 100% pure bred cute! I would make a great buddy for a first-time dog owner who is looking for spunk, playfulness and pizzaz! I'm still a puppy at heart and am very happy-go-lucky. I like new things and people, and am very gregarious. My foster mom calls me a social butterfly!
I am not a vocal dog and acclimate quickly to adjoining household noises (eg, apartment living). I can be calm in the house, but I also like to play with other dogs and flop around with them. I won't ransack your house by any means, but I do like to run around. I play very nicely with others - see my video - and would love a play buddy. I would probably be fine as an only, too.
I want to please and would love to learn tricks! I'd probably be great at agility! I learned the doggie door in a few days and usually let myself out to potty but I do still occasionally have accidents in the house. I don't love the crate, but I am getting used to it at night. I love to be around people - especially when they pet me and hold me in their laps - I'm just the right size for lap cuddles! I'm also content to hang out on a doggie bed on the floor near my peeps. I'm still a puppy and need work on my housetraining and leash training, as well as other basic skills, but I promise that I will make it fun!
My foster momma says I'm a ball of cuteness and fun - do you want to come out and play with me?

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
