Meet Pascal! Pascal looks like a gorgeous Bloodhound/Plott Hound mix. He came into a WV shelter with nine other dogs from a terrible hoarding case in which all of these dogs were surviving on grass and river water. He received minimal socialization as a young puppy, so would benefit from a family that is patient and also structured. As you can see by Pascal's pictures, he was extremely thin when he first came into rescue, but he has filled out nicely. He is a super-handsome boy with a beautiful sleek dark brindle coat and giant floppy ears. Pascal loves to cuddle, and he can't get enough attention - he is very sweet and loving with his humans.  He is house trained and leash trained.  He will chase cats who run, so he would be best in a home without cats or ones that do not run from dogs. He can be vocal at first in his crate, but settles down. Pascal loves to be able to run around in a yard. He has a lot of energy and would blossom in a home with regular exercise and mental stimulation. He has shown some resource guarding with his bones and treats; this should be worked on in his new home. Does Pascal sound like the handsome companion you have been looking for?
