Meet MacDade!  MacDade is a very playful German Shepherd mix boy.  He looks like he has a lot of long-haired German Shepherd in him, (possibly full) he has the stance, and he does the patrol around the perimeter when he goes out to the yard.  He is a puppy in a large dogs body.  He is very active and playful, with a lot of puppy still left in him.  He would love to have a family who is just as active as he is.  He is leash trained and working on his house training.  He will need basic obedience training which should come easy for him since he is very eager to please and obedient.  With the right training we think he could easily become a therapy dog.  MacDade would really like to have a home with a fenced in yard so he can run and play safely.  He gets along with other active and playful dogs; he hasn't been around any children but we think he would be good with children that can handle a dog his size.  MacDade walked in a supermarket (McDades's) one cold January night.  He walked up and down the aisles greeting the customers and checking out the hamburger meat.  The store manager called a rescue to pick him up.  When inquiring about him, a homeless man explained how he followed him over 15 blocks from a local Dollar General that he was hanging around at for days.  No owner could be found so we assume that he was dumped there.  MacDade is looking for someone who loves life as much as he does.  Is that someone you?
