Weight: 110 lbs This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.
Meet our sweet, silly, Gentle Giant Nalla (aka Ginger)! Nalla looks to be a full bred Great Dane. She is almost two years old and weighs around 110lbs. She is just as sweet as she is beautiful. She loves to be with her people...she thinks she is a lap dog, and we are not going to tell her she's not. She can be shy with new people and in new situations, but she comes around quickly. Nalla is very playful, she loves toys and loves to play fetch. She's friendly with other dogs, and she plays well with both large and very small dogs (like yorkies and chihuahuas). Nalla is housetrained to a doggie door, walks well on a leash and is crate trained. Nalla has lived with other dogs, cats and children as young as 4 years old an done well with all. She is a sweet soul, and would do well in a kind home committed to building her confidence and offering her a consistent routine. In her previous home, Nalla had a habit if shredding paper when left alone. We think this is her showing boredom, and we think that with further training and structure, Nalla will leave this naughty habit behind.
This girl is going to make a great family member and is going to be the talk of the neighborhood. Do you have room in your heart and home for her? If so, fill out an application and make room for Nalla!
Nalla's History: Nalla was adopted out by SOS about one year ago. Sadly, Nalla is looking for a new home now through no fault of her own - her dad is moving and cannot find living arrangements that would suit her. Nalla has had very limited obedience training, and would blossom going through group training classes with her new family. Nalla was renamed and responds to "Ginger" now.

We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence.
