Check Rambo out! This little knockout looks to be a Beagle mix between 1-2 years old. He is a happy, easy-going fella who just loves attention. Rambo does very well with other dogs - his size, smaller, and larger. He would love to have a playful canine buddy in his new home, as he very much enjoys playing with his foster siblings. He has not lived with kids, but we think he would do fine in a household with respectful children. Rambo is a typical beagle in that he ALWAYS has his nose to the ground. A fenced yard would be best for him, as he loves to run zoomies and sniff, sniff, sniff! Rambo is also not accustomed to going potty while on leash, so a fenced yard will help continue his housetraining. Unlike the beagle stereotype, Rambo is very quiet - he rarely barks or makes any noises. Rambo does decently on a leash, but he will benefit from further leash training, as well as basic obedience training. Rambo has a playful and goofy personality - when he runs he hops on his back legs and you can't help but laugh. At first we thought he might have a hip condition, but x-rays proved that his hips look great. He does, however, have tight hip flexors (a condition known as iliopsoas) - further exercise and stretching (e.g., stairs) could help with this, but as far as we can tell, this doesn't seem to cause him any issues or slow him down. Rambo seems to be an old soul - he is a very gentle and sweet boy - and is a great buddy to sit with or cuddle up to. Rambo is a handsome boy with a unique short tail. He also seems to have some type of eye deformity or he may be cross-eyed or may have an nerve impairment. Regardless of the cause, it doesn't seem to slow him down one bit. Rambo was picked up as a stray and no one came to claim him. He is waiting for the perfect family to make him their center of attention. Don't keep this boy waiting any longer, fill out an application and give Rambo what he has been waiting for.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
