Age: 1 Year (as of 1/11/16) This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.
Hi there my friends...you can call me Skeeter! Yeah I know, I am the cutest dog that you've ever seen...I hear it all the time! The nice people who took me in from a high volume kill shelter until I find a home of my own, say that I look to be a Belgian Shepherd Malinois mix, but I think I look more like Tom Brady, you know the Patriots' quarterback all the women go crazy over. However I do have many classic Malinois traits: I'm very devoted, energetic, smart and sociable - so ya, I'm wonderful! I am around 1 year old and I love people and other dogs. I sometimes forget my size though, so I might unintentionally hurt a smaller dog during play. Though I haven't been aggressive with cats at the vet's, another trait of the Malinois is a high prey drive, so I may not be the best fit for a home with cats. I am looking for a family who is willing to invest the time, energy and patience to give me the training l need, so I will be a well mannered and socialized adult. I would love a home with a fenced-in yard, so I can run and play safely. I'm always happy and can be kind of goofy - I have such a fun personality! I also LOVE to play in puddles and I bark when I'm excited! Doesn't everyone? I promise that if you give me a fur-ever home I will give you lots of love and be the great family dog you dreamed of.
