This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.

Ollivander is a sweet soul who looks to be a 3-4 year old cattle dog/lab mix.

He has lived with very young children in the past but would likely prefer to be a more calm, mature household. He has some apprehension of new people and places, and can take a little bit to warm up to new things, but has shown no aggression whatsoever.

 

While Ollivander can be calm in the house and enjoys being a couch potato at times, he does also enjoy regular exercise. He would likely love to be your running buddy, though extensive exercise is not required. After a slow introductory period, he usually enjoys playing with other dogs, too, though he can be a little intimidated at first. He rides nicely in the car and is solidly house trained - he does his business immediately upon going outside, which is great when it is cold or raining! A fenced yard would be great for him to run around in safely, but he is used to leash walks and also used to apartment living. He is left loose in the home when his people need to step out and he does well - no destructive behavior or accidents. He walks nicely on the leash with an Easy Walk harness, but does have some hesitancy with new situations.

 

This little guy is the perfect size and is going to make a great companion for someone looking for a sensitive companion. Ollivander's Backstory: He was adopted into a Rhode Island home through SOSARL as a young puppy where he thrived and was well loved. He grew up with young children and did okay with them in the home. Unfortunately due to divorce and moving, he is now looking for a new home.
