Tac Toe may sound like a strange name for a cute dog, but when you add Tic Toe you get these two adorable brothers - "Tic Tac Toe!" They are Jack Russel Terrier mixes that are around 1 year old and about 22 pounds. Tac is mostly white with some tan and his brother Tic is the opposite, as he is mostly tan with some white and both are equally handsome. They were strays picked up by animal control and now each one is ready for a home of his own. We LOVE this little guy - his is fun, bubbly, outgoing, and playful. Tac is the lover - he looks for attention and loves affection from people. He can actually stop playing on a dime if he thinks you'll let him cuddle in your lap! He needs work on crate, leash, and house training, and obedience training is recommended. He gets along with other dogs - he is in a playgroup at daycare and does well with dogs of all sizes and ages. Being a puppy, he still has that puppy rough way of playing. We are not sure about kids or cats. Tac has moderate to high energy and would love a home with lots of activity, a fenced-in yard, and daily walks and play time. Structure and stimulation will be important to keep this little guy happy. If you would love to give Tac Toe a home, please fill out an application! Don't keep this boy waiting one day more!
Medical Note: Tac Toe was treated for generalized demodectic mange while in the SOS program. Tac has responded well to this treatment and his coat is regrowing nicely. Please note that demodex can flare up in any dog in times of stress (e.g., transport, transition to a new home, etc.). As such, the adopter is advised to discuss this condition and best next steps their veterinarian. Please see here for more information on demodectic mange: http://www.vcahospitals.com/main/pet-health-information/article/animal-health/mange-demodectic-in-dogs/741.
Please discuss any concerns with your veterinarian.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
