Age: 4 Months (as of 7/4/16)
Weight: 28 lbs (as of 6/16/16) This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. How would you like to welcome this super-cute little one into your family? This is Edward, he is one of three males from the "Depp" litter. We believe they are a Hound mix that was born around February 23rd of this year. All three brothers were dumped on the side of a road and were very scared. They are still timid at first, but they love everyone including children. They are submissive and play with other dogs. They love water and swim daily in the kiddie pool. They are playful and would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard, so they can do what Hounds do best, and that's exploring with their nose to the ground smelling all the interesting outdoor scents. Edward is a HOOT! He is so funny and playful! He loves to push the grass and then attack it! His favorite thing to do is to lay in the mums! Edward is just a sweetie!
Being puppies they have a lot to learn, like house training, crate training and leash training. We strongly recommend all puppies attend basic obedience training, as it not only helps them blossom into a well-balanced canine citizen with good manners but it also helps to form a lasting bond between the puppy and humans in the family. The more time and energy you invest in your puppy now, the more likely you will have a great family companion who is welcomed at family gatherings and in public for many years to come. As adopters, you should plan to spend plenty of time playing with your new puppy and socializing him with new situations, people and other dogs.
