This bundle of energy is Gaston Solis!
Gaston appears to be a Border Collie mix about 9 months old who loves to be active, active, active! If he's not getting enough attention and play time, he gets bored.
We strongly recommend that all our dogs attend obedience classes, not only because you get to learn commands together and it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog, but because it helps to strengthen that ever-important bond between the dog and his human family. And it’s lots of fun! A well-mannered, obedient dog will be welcomed most anywhere you take him. And for Gaston as a Border Collie mix, he is considered a working class dog so he'll need lots of exercise, mental stimulation, and structure so that he doesn't get bored – think puzzle toys, games and agility. Though a fenced yard is an ideal place for him to romp and play a rousing game of fetch safely, if that’s not an option then lots of daily leash walks and opportunities to play off-leash in a dog park is the next best thing. A tired dog is a good dog! We're still getting to know Gaston so we don't know if he's house trained or walks on a leash - he's not yet crate trained. He gets along well with other dogs and is a friendly little fellow. He did meet a kitty cat and was quite curious (the cat wasn't thrilled), but Gaston showed no aggression or "fireworks." He has not met any children yet so we don't know what he thinks of them. He does well in the car, likes toys, likes to play fetch, is affectionate, obedient, very smart, even-tempered and gentle.

Gaston is still a puppy and puppies are a lot of work. They require a strong commitment to teaching them obedience, socializing them with other dogs and people, playing with them and loving them to pieces. It takes a lot of time, energy and patience to bring up a puppy, but it’s totally worth it! Are you up to the challenge? Fill out an application for Gaston Solis today! He'll make sure your life's not ever dull again!

**Additional info you should know -  For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix.  We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label.   Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption.  There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
