This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.

Zepplin LOVES to tussle and tumble with his dog friends.

And though you may not find Mississippi Black Dog on the AKC's list of dog breeds, we're thinking that Zep just might be a mix of MBD with maybe some Labrador Retriever. He appears to be about 5 months old and absolutely loves everyone - big people, little people, other dogs and kitty cats alike! He gets so excited when someone comes to play with him! But he's not averse to settling down on a lap for some chillin' and cuddlin'. He likes going for walks and is leash trained. He's also crate trained, however because he's currently living in a shelter situation, house training is still on his "to learn" list. Zepplin is calm, smart, eager to please and treat motivated - a great combination for acing obedience classes! You'll have so much fun together learning lots of cool stuff while spending some quality bonding time. A fenced yard is the ideal safe place for your pup to run and play, but if that's not an option then daily leash walks and opportunities to play off-leash in a dog park or at doggie daycare will fit the exercise bill. And to exercise his mind, think puzzle toys and games. Zepplin loves going for car rides - especially to new place and meeting new people who just may want to play with him...roadtrip!

 

Zepplin was left at our Mississippi rescue partner's vet clinic by someone who picked him up off the streets. He had sarcoptic mange from which he's been totally cured. His dream is to find a forever home with a forever family who will not only play with him, but who'll teach him all the things that puppies need to learn to be super canine pals - and of course, who'll absolutely adore him to bits!
