Bandit Bend absolutely LOVES children!
He's also great with other dogs and with adults - cats, not so much. This handsome boy appears to maybe be a Border Collie mix a little over a year old. He was rescued as a puppy in the summer of 2017 and is looking for a new forever home because his mom wasn't financially able to meet whatever veterinary needs he had. She asked our rescue partner in Arkansas for help this past winter and a foster took him in. He shares a fenced yard with his three foster siblings with whom he loves to play! He's a quiet boy who rarely barks and is always eager to go out and play, but is just as happy to chill out with his people. He's working on his life skills: house training, crate training and walking on a leash (he currently tends to pull). He does ride well in the car while crated. Considering his breed mix guess, obedience training and structure will be important for Bandit and he may enjoy advanced training, too, such as agility. Though a fenced yard is the ideal safe place for your pup to run and play, if that's not an option then daily leash walks with opportunities to play off-leash in a dog park will work just fine. And to exercise that canine mind, think puzzle toys and games.

Bandit Bend would LOVE to find a family with children to go on adventures with and he'd like to have a canine sibling or two, but he's okay with being your only dog, too. Does he sound like just the pup you need in your life? Fill out an application today and let him know! His people will be in touch!

**Additional info you should know -  For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix.  We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label.   Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption.  There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
