This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.
Meet Farmer! He appears to be about a 2-year-old hound mix and he's a very calm, gentle boy. Farmer has been living in a foster home and doing very well interacting with people, kiddos, dogs and cats. He can sometimes be a little shy when meeting new friends and visiting new places, but he quickly settles down and gets comfortable. Farmer is a pretty low-key dog -- rarely barks, even-tempered, and happy to go for a walk and then snuggle. He's also a very smart pup and quickly learning his house manners! Farmer is housetrained and will walk to the door when he needs to go outside. He's also already mastered "sit" and "shake" so he could surely learn more tricks! He's very motivated by "high-value" treats (think special smelly snacks), so you could use those as a training tool. Dog training classes are also a great way to continue reinforcing these skills, while giving Farmer a chance to play with other pups and continue bonding with his new human(s).
