Kismet is a busy boy!
It’s fate or kismet that you found this happy, affectionate, and active pup! We are thinking this busy guy is a Terrier/Shepherd mix. He is a typical puppy with typical puppy behavior - like chewing on stuff, playing with other dogs, playing with toys, playing with people and just playing in general!

Kismet loves having someone to play with, either another dog or you!  Kismet is a persistent player, and not all other dogs are appreciative of this so he would be best as an only dog, or matched with a tolerant, non-reactive dog.   He is a high energy puppy that might be too much for young kids or senior dogs, and a potential adopter would need to keep this in mind if there are young children in the household, or visiting young children.  He is using his mouth a lot in play at this time, probably because he is entering a teething phase.  He will need an adopter who will be firm with him in training that is committed to giving him daily exercise and stimulation.  It is likely that his adopters will also benefit from several in-home training sessions from a professional over the first 6 months of adoption.

Kismet is an eager to please, toy and treat motivated little squirt, so puppy training classes will be lots of fun! He does pretty well on a leash and is working on crate training and potty training. He does well in a car either tethered or crated. He's a quick learner who knows "sit", but will need continued work on all of his commands as well as daily exercise.
