This happy, pretty lass is Ellie Mae Bodine! She is named after a character from the popular television series from the 1960s, The Beverly Hillbillies.

Ellie going to be the perfect addition to someone's home! Ellie is happy to meet and play with other dogs, cats, kids (of all ages), adults - she is just one friendly, outgoing little lady! Ellie appears to be a Hound and Shepherd mix about 4 months old with a beautiful sable and white coat. Ellie and her mom (Pearl – also available on SOS) and sweet girls that can’t wait to find forever homes.

As with all puppies, she'll need work on house training and crate training and is has started on leash training and so far, so good! She rides great in the car and would love to join you for an adventure. Ellie is a typical puppy that loves to play and chew on things, especially toys that squeak.

A fenced yard would be ideal so Ellie could run and play safely, but if that's not available she'll need lots of leash walks and opportunities for off-leash play in a fenced area. An obedience course is a must with Ellie; it will help teach her good manners and commands, further socialization with other dogs and people, and will help build that very important bond between a dog and her human. The more time you invest in your puppy with lots of playtime and learning time, the better behaved she will be as an adult and everyone will welcome her wherever you take her.
