Weight: 11.4 lbs (as of 4/19/21) This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet Isabel Rhapsody!
She's one of eight adorable pups from the Rhapsody litter. These sweet little puppies were born January 30, 2021 and currently all weigh between 6.8 and 7.8 pounds. They appear to be Labrador mixes -- see photos of Mom and Dad attached. Mom is 53 pounds and Dad is 31 pounds, so while the puppies are tiny right now, we expect they'll be medium-sized dogs when fully grown.
Both parents have homes already and Mom had a surprise litter, so now we are looking for happy homes for all of the Rhapsody puppies.
Isabel and her siblings are brand new to the world, but so far seem to be typical puppies -- very friendly, playful, and affectionate. She loves chasing and wrestling with her brothers and sisters and would probably do well in a home with other dogs to play with too. She also gets along well with the two children she's currently living with in her foster home.
When bringing a new dog home, we always recommend dog training classes, but especially with young puppies! Group classes are a great way to help Isabel practice some basic commands, socialize with other furry friends, and learn helpful tips for housetraining, crate training, and leash training. She will also need daily exercise and fun, brain-stimulating toys to play with. Remember that a tired dog is a happy dog, and after a full day of playtime, Isabel will be happy to cuddle and relax with her human(s)!
